Bennet's Bar Slow Session
The session is moving to the Argyll Bar for the 19th November. The venue for the following weeks up until Christmas is to be confirmed. We’ll update the website as soon as we have more information
Scots Trad Music Awards
It’s that time of year again – voting has opened for the Scots Trad Music Awards. Amongst this year’s nominees are:
- The Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin’, which started off similarly to the Scots Music Group, as a small project within the Adult Learning Project.
- Ailie Robertson, who currently teaches 3 classes with the Scots Music Group

Goodbye Gica!
After many years involvement with the Scots Music Group, as a development worker and a fiddle tutor, Gica Loening has recently left to take up a research post with the RSAMD
We’d like to wish her all the best with her new job, and say a HUGE thank you for all the hard work and energy she has put into her various roles within the Scot Music Group!
